A LETTER TO THE PUNCTUATION BOARD
Dear Head of the Punctuation Board,
I request you remove me from the committee of the hindrance sector
of the punctuation department.
Sir, I feel like I do not belong in this position and someone better
should do this job. I say this with great regret that I have to say I no
longer feel comfortable being a part of the distress and anxiety of
the poets. Sir, there are few poets who like their poems to be streams
of thoughts, without any obstacles and punctuation. Somehow these
poets don’t feel the same way with me and I help them convey their
complex feelings and thoughts with just a little bit of pause. But
unfortunately their critics do not accept those poets when they only
use me and not any of my other fellow members. So it is with great
pain and helplessness that I have to lose the honor of being a helper
of the unexpressed and complex emotions of these complex poets.
Sir, in the above circumstances, I hope you will release me from my
responsibilities and accept my resignation from the department of
punctuation.
Sincerely Yours . . .
